Malam telah berbaring di sisimu
kau harus tidur,
Esok,moga tiada hela nafas yang menyesakkan dadamu

Dan kau akan mengejarnya.

Singkaplah tirai kamarmu,

'malam telah berbaring di sisimu' very strong imagery, personification of malam; with reversal of roles ( one usually berbaring in the 'malam' which brings a thousand dreams,not the other way round )Here the 'malam' takes it upon itself to come,make a visitation to the poet; and at the same time brings with it all the blessings, dreams and rest to the soul that the poet would have searching for in nights previous. A contrast is made and inferred here. Therein the poet reposes after 'menyingkap-ing' the tirai of the night. A night pregnant with possibilities and connotations. Best.
